What should I wear?

Black Tie Optional: We’re creating an atmosphere that feels elegant and timeless, with vintage-modern touches. Black-tie attire is heavily encouraged and preferred, but we completely understand the importance of feeling comfortable—both physically and financially—so formal attire is absolutely welcome too. Our wedding is in late May, so you can expect warm spring weather. Our wedding party will be dressed in black, and the venues will feature a black-and-white palette with touches of gold. Men: Tuxedo encouraged, suit and tie welcome. Please avoid street shoes. Women: Floor-length evening gowns are encouraged; formal dresses are also perfect.

Can I bring a +1?

We are keeping the guest list very intentional, so we kindly ask that only those specifically listed on the invitation attend. The opportunity to bring a guest of your choice will be clearly designated on your invitation.

Are we Kid Friendly?

Absolutely! We adore the little ones, and the night would not feel complete without them. We just ask that you bring only the kiddos specifically listed on your invitation!

What is the Full Day’s Timeline

The Ceremony will take place at St. John Vianney Catholic Church at 54045 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48315 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Join us for the start of the celebration as we exchange vows. The ceremony will last approximately an hour, so arrive a little early to get seated and ready for the big moment. Immediately following the ceremony, Family, Bridal Party, & Couple Photos will take place from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM. While we take photos with our amazing bridal party and capture some couple moments, enjoy a little break before the next festivities. After the ceremony, a Cocktail Hour will be hosted from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM at Petruzellos Banquet Center at 6950 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI 48085. Raise a glass and mingle! Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served while we get ready for the main event. The reception officially kicks off at 6:30 PM with the receiving line and introductions of parents, bridal party, and the couple—get ready to swing your napkins! Dinner will be served promptly at 7:30 PM. After dinner, we will be dancing, celebrating, and making memories with all our guests until 12:30 AM.

What time should I arrive?

As Dawn Fenn has always said: if you’re on time, you’re late. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM at the church, so we recommend arriving a bit early to get parked, settled, and ready for the big moment!

What if it rains?

We’ll take any luck we can get! Fortunately, both our venues are indoors, so the celebration will go on rain or shine—dancing shoes fully intact.

Where Can I Park?

Good news — parking is easy! Both St. John Vianney and Petruzello’s have plenty of on-site parking, so you won’t be circling the block in your dress clothes. Handicap-accessible spots are also available at both locations. Pull in, park, and come celebrate!

Will transportation be provided between venues?

Transportation between the church and Petruzello's is not provided, but don’t worry—the drive is just about 20 minutes and the church only provides one sip of wine! 😉 The ceremony will conclude around 3:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to make the short trip and arrive in time for the 5:30 PM cocktail hour at Petruzello's. Consider it a little breather (or a chance to practice your wedding dance moves in the car)!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

It warms our hearts to know you want to capture these moments with us! 📸 We encourage plenty of photos of yourself and those around you—and we’ll even provide a QR code to a shared album so everyone can contribute. We also have two amazing photographers and a videographer capturing every magical moment, so we kindly ask that during the big “aisle moments,” guests seated at the ends of the pews keep their phones tucked away. That way, everyone (and our pros!) can get the perfect shot!

What’s for Dinner?

Come hungry—we’ve got you covered all night long! Cocktail hour will feature a selection of passed warm and cold hors d’oeuvres. Dinner will begin with a cozy first course of chicken pastina soup, followed by a fresh garden salad with house dressing. For pasta, you’ll have the choice of penne palomino or penne with meat sauce. The main entrée is a delicious dual plate featuring filet mignon with zip sauce and chicken marsala, served alongside mashed potatoes and whole green beans. To top it all off, dessert includes our wedding cake plus a variety of mini sweets on the Tringali dessert table. And if you’re still dancing late into the night, we’ll be bringing out Jet’s Pizza for a late-night snack!

Bar type?

Just like our hearts, the bar will be wide open! 🍷🍸 We’ll be serving a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails to keep the celebration flowing—cheers to love, laughter, and happily ever after!
